WASHINGTON, D.C. — International Human Rights Advocates (IHRA) is pleased to announce that Hassan A. Kodi and Abdulmonem Abdumawla, from Sudan, who were sentenced to 12-year prison terms earlier this year, have been released.

Amnesty International considered both Hassan A. Kodi and Abdulmonem Abdumawla to be prisoners of conscience who were jailed solely for the peaceful exercise of their rights to freedom of expression, association and religion.
